General Terms and Conditions
The General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the Conditions) of the Joseph1699 Hotel Skalní 85/8, 674 01 Třebíč (hereinafter referred to as the Hotel) govern the mutual contractual relationship between the hotel operator, Accomo s.r.o. with its registered office at Rešice 110, 671 73, Company Registration Number 269 29 414 (hereinafter referred to as the Operator) and the client – a natural or legal person who orders a stay at the Hotel as the customer (hereinafter referred to as the Client).
I. Ordering a stay, establishment of a contractual relationship
The Client orders a stay at the Hotel by means of a written order or a request for a reservation, which he submits to the Hotel by e-mail (recepce@joseph1699.cz), via the reservation interface on the Hotel’s website (https://joseph1699.cz/en/reservation/), by telephone or in person at the Hotel reception. The essential details that constitute a properly issued order or reservation request are:
- the Client’s name and surname, date and place of birth, permanent address, contact (telephone, or e-mail), in the case of legal entities, business name, ID, VAT number
- number of persons, date of stay, length of stay, room type
- if a resident/Client orders a stay for a foreigner, the Client is obliged to state this fact.
The Hotel has the right to ask the Client for advance payment or a guarantee (pre-authorization) by credit card. In such cases, the reservation is binding on both sides from the moment the Client pays the advance invoice or from the time the pre-authorization is made on the Client’s bank card. This step creates a contractual relationship between the Client and the Hotel.
The Hotel undertakes to provide the Client with services in the confirmed scope and quality. The terms of the contractual relationship apply to all persons specified in the order/reservation request submitted by the Client and confirmed by the Hotel. The accommodation that has not been paid in advance on an advance invoice Client will pay upon arrival (check-in).
II. Conditions for changes or cancellation of reservation
The Client is obliged to submit all requests for changes to the reservation or cancellation of the reservation to the Hotel reception in writing and the acceptance of this request must be confirmed in writing by the Hotel.
Any changes to the reserved services requested by the Client no later than 6 days before the date of implementation of the requested change will be accepted by the Hotel in connection with the Hotel’s occupancy, with the price of the service corresponding to its scope after this change. This means that in the event of cancellation of the reservation at least 6 days in advance, the Client will not be charged a cancellation fee. In the case of already paid services, the amount paid will be refunded to the account of the Client who ordered/paid for the service.
Any changes requested by the Client later than 6 days before the date of the requested change will be accepted by the Hotel to the extent that the Hotel’s occupancy allows, but with the proviso that the cancelled services will be paid by the Client in the originally agreed scope – this means that in the event of cancellation of accommodation without the possibility of refunding the amount paid (in individual cases, other conditions may be agreed before in writing).
In cases worthy of special consideration, the Hotel may waive the charge of cancellation fees or reduce their amount by agreement.
Any shortening of the length of stay or failure to use some ordered services (if they can be used) is not a reason for returning part of the payment for the ordered services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Requests to change the reservation date can only be accepted in connection with the Hotel’s occupancy and only during period of the same price level of the offered services (it is not possible to move the stay from the winter season to the summer season with a higher price). Each reservation of the stay can be moved to another date once only. (stay/gift vouchers).
Payments for stay gift vouchers are non-refundable.
III. Prices of services and their payment
The prices of services provided by the Hotel are listed on:

- price lists on internet – accommodation or hotel portals.
The Client can pay for the ordered services by:
- by bank transfer to the Hotel’s account at Československá obchodní banka, a.s., Třebíč branch, bank code for domestic payments: 0300, BIC/SWIFT: CEKOCZPP, Account No.: 274840998 / 0300, IBAN: CZ03 0300 0000 0002 7484 0998
- by credit card (pre-authorization is sufficient to guarantee the stay)
- by cash payment at the Hotel reception
Note:
Pre-authorization on the Client’s credit card is performed by the Hotel reception at the bank terminal in the amount of the expected payment for accommodation or the agreed service. For this purpose, the Client must provide the reception with the necessary details from their payment card.
IV. Other arrangements:
When paying by card, the payment is always charged in CZK. The conversion to EURO is performed by the Client’s bank, the Hotel does not perform this conversion. Tax document – invoice will always be issued in CZK.
For group and bulk reservations, the Hotel sets individual payment and cancellation conditions, which must be agreed in writing.
In the event of a delay in the maturity of invoices by the Client (delay in payment to the account of Accomo s.r.o.), the Hotel is entitled to charge interest of 0.1% of the total amount for each day of delay. If the outstanding amount is not paid within the alternative deadline, the Hotel may assign the resulting receivable for collection.
The Hotel reserves the right to charge fees for the use of payment methods with high transaction costs (e.g. payment with AMEX cards)
The Hotel has the right to change the prices of the services offered in connection with the Hotel’s occupancy or based on other influences. However, prices for already agreed stay reservations cannot be changed.
The accommodation price does not include a local accommodation fee. Its amount is defined by the decree of the city of Třebíč and is payable upon the guest’s arrival.
V. Final provisions
The General Terms and Conditions enter into force on 1 December 2024. Changes and amendments to these Conditions may be individually agreed between the Hotel and the Client exclusively in writing.
