Historic centre of Telč

35 km faraway from Třebíč (30 min. by car)

The town Telč was founded in 13th century as a royal water fort on the crossroads of routes between Moravia, Bohemia and Austria. The most significant sight is the town square with well-conserved Renaissance and Baroque houses, the Renaissance chateau with rich interior and the arcade-quadrangle.
